We are looking for compassionate and caring individuals to serve as volunteer “Angels” for Operation HOPE (the Heroin – Opiate Prevention Effort). Volunteer “Angels” will receive training to help understand addiction and how to interact with and assist people experiencing addiction-related issues. “Angels” will also learn how Operation HOPE helps people find recovery and access resources for their addiction . When someone comes to the police station to ask for help with a heroin or opiate addiction, we will call out an Operation Hope “Angel”. The “Angel” will provide support and assistance to the program participant and help shepherd them toward treatment and recovery. If you are interested in serving as an Operation HOPE “Angel” and want to reserve a seat at training, please contact us.
